Student Services : Wellbeing

Welcome back

We hope you enjoyed a restful Spring break and are feeling as excited as we are for term 4 and… SUMMER!

We have some very exciting events planned for this term and as always, we are available in M11 for wellbeing support, at any time. We will be moving to the new student services area in the Hub, this will be happening soon, we will let you know when!

October is Mental Health Month- the Wellbeing team are super excited to be bringing you the following activities. Please keep an eye out for more information around the school and for ways you can be involved!

Wellbeing staff attend Year 8 camp – the Summit.

The Year 8 Wellbeing Co-ordinator, Sabatinie and the Mental Health Practitioner, Jane were lucky to attend the Year 8 camp last week. It was fantastic to see so many students giving it their all and encouraging each other. Jane and Sabatinie enjoyed taking part in the cave activity and the flying fox!

Year 12 student support

As we enter the final months of Year 12, it’s both an exciting and challenging time for students (and families!). While they look forward to the next chapter of their lives, the pressure of exams and future planning can be overwhelming. Our Student Wellbeing Coordinators and Mental Health practitioner are available to support students until the end of the year. If needed, we can also assist in sourcing external support services. Please encourage your child to reach out for confidential and free support; we're here to help them through this crucial period.
