Division Athletics

Congratulations to 15 of our Grades 3-6 students who competed at the Yarra Division Athletics on Thursday the 10th of October. All students represented Rolling Hills wonderfully and produced the following outstanding results:

Cody – 1st 200m, 2nd 100m, 2nd 4x100m relay

Annabel – 2nd 200m

Hamish – 2nd 4x100m relay, 4th long jump

Brodie – 2nd 4x100m relay

Lucy – 6th triple jump

Good luck to Alexa, Cody, Annabel, Hamish, Brodie, Jackson and Ruby, who will now compete at the Regional Championships on Thursday the 24th of October!

Division Summer Sport Finals

What a successful day we had on Wednesday the 16th of October! Our mixed basketball and girls volleyball teams played in the Yarra Division Summer Sport finals at Oxley College. Both teams won and will now progress to the Regional Championships later this month!

Our basketballers started the day off with a very tough match against SPJ. Tied at half time, they pulled away in the second half to win 37-27. With only ten minutes break, they then had to back up and play against Oxley College. They played another great match and won 45-7. A big thank you to Brad Pearson who stepped in as coach for the day.

Our volleyball girls played their match against SPJ. They played extremely well and won in straight sets: 15-8, 15-4, 15-8.

We are very proud of both teams and wish you the best of luck in the next round!
