GEM SHOWCASE DAY

Dear Parents,

We are excited to be hosting our First GEM DAY on Friday, October 11th. It will be a day dedicated to The Resilience Project.

St. Fidelis has been working with The Resilience project for three years now. On this day, we will showcase all that we have learned over the years. During this time, we have implemented evidence-based lessons in the classroom dedicated to Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness, and Emotional Literacy.

Come and celebrate our commitment to positive mental health strategies for our students.

On the day, we ask that the children wear something green and bring in a gold coin to donate to The Black Dog Institute.

The agenda for the day will be as follows:

  • Before school, come into the hall to write on the Graffiti Wall or take a photo in the Photo Booth
  • Then, at 9 am, join us in the hall for a Special Assembly.
  • After Assembly, you are invited into the classrooms to look at TRP Journals and complete family leaves with the writing prompt ("The Karalis family is grateful for…).

Come along and join us in celebrating and showcasing TRP at St Fidelis.
