Dear Parents, Guardians
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone parents, staff, and students who participated in our recent school Disco. It was wonderful to witness the positive interactions and connections among students and staff at this social event.
Also, as of Monday we will be introducing a new bell before the music to assist students not returning late to class.
Student Engagement with our Gaga Pit

Our school’s Gaga Pit, which had previously been underutilized due to foundation issues, has now been fully renovated. The space is now more inviting and accessible for our students. Our Year 3-6 students have been enjoying this newly improved area, and it has quickly become a popular spot for play and engagement.
SunSmart Policy

As a reminder, our SunSmart policy requires that hats be worn outdoors. Starting next term, we will be strictly enforcing this policy. Please ensure that your child has a school hat ready for the new term.
PLANNING WEEK Our Term 3 Planning Week is scheduled to occur in Week10 of this term (last week). This is from Monday 16th September to Friday 20thSeptember (heads up – the last day of Term 3 is Friday 20 September, and we finish at 2:30pm!).
Planning Week is where your child/ren’s specialist classes are compressed into one day and they do not have specialist classes at any other time throughout the week. All classroom teachers in a year level (e.g. Foundation) have the same day together to plan.

Children and teenagers who can understand and manage their emotions are more likely to:
Your child’s ability to understand and manage emotions develops over time. When your child is young, they’ll need help with understanding emotions. This mostly involves recognising and naming emotions, which lays the groundwork for managing emotions as your child gets older.
As your child grows, they’ll learn more strategies to manage their emotions without your help.
Understanding and managing emotions is also called emotional regulation. It’s an important part of your child’s self-regulation
Safety Fence Project
We’ve been collaborating with the high school to enhance the security of our school grounds. A new fence has been installed at the end of the school. It will be open from 8:25 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the morning and will reopened at 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon, aligning with our regular school gate schedule.
