Student Learning Term 3 Highlights

What a busy and wonderful term 3!

Students explored, investigated, created, cooked, participated in incursions, excursions and class room activities.

Foundation students visited Collingwood Children`s Farm. They explored the wonderful grounds and visited the animals.

 They also had a visit from the firefighters yesterday, as part of the FireED program.

Students celebrated the Paris Olympics  creating mascots, researching the Paris  Olympic Games as well as participating in the FPS Mini Olympics!

We celebrated book week with an amazing parade and shared our favourite books

Students in 3/4L, 3/4J & 3/4 D participated in a design NGV Art Incursion Workshop in collaboration with  NGV Melbourne/ Africa Fashion as well as attending a Q & A session with the Collingwood AFLW players

Students from Lyneham High School in the ACT visited FPS and students had an afternoon session listening and participating in an amazing musical performance.

Students in 5/6 enjoyed a Robotics Coding Incursion with Gab & Nick from Fitzroy Library.
