Hello everyone and welcome to this addition of our fortnightly newsletter. As usual, lots of things are going on at The Gap State High School,  and I'll give you a small little window into some of those things.  Our Year 12's have been hard at work, studying and preparing for their mock blocks and we are really excited to see how well they have gone through that process when they get feedback from their teachers at the end of this term or early next term. Also our Year 11's have been head down, working hard, doing their exam block as well, they will be excited to see how they have been going as well.

This week I had a fantatsic meeting with some of our young people who are writting and putting together our next school musical. It will be launched next year, in July and the title of that is called 'The Thunderbolt,' stay tuned for more information and more exciting teasers as we go along the way in preparation for that amazing musical.

Last week, we also had an outstanding Launch Conference, this conference gets bigger and better every year and it is thanks to the outstanding work of Mr Rex Bertrand, as the guide on the side, but more importantly those amazing students of The Gap State High School, who work tirelessly to bring that conference together. There was about 105 young people from our primary schools in our area, who came and had the best day ever. Thank you to Rotary and Jonty Bush, for their support of that conference as well.

Well until next time, I hope you and your families, have a beautiful Spring holiday, as Spring is here and I look forward to catching up with you next term. Bye
