Applied Learning

Year 12 VCE VM

The Year 12 VCE VM Work Related Skills students have been exploring the job application process in depth.  They have been participating in mock interviews, putting into practice the skills they have acquired over the last term as they interviewed for positions of their choice.

How good are these amazing Community Projects by our dedicated VCE VM Year 12 student?.  Their hard work and passion were on full display over the past term.  As part of their Personal Development Subject, each student chooses a particular cause to research and develop a plan to either fundraise or donate to that cause.

We had a vast variety of projects that showed the in-depth research produced by these students so that many areas of community need were covered.

Peter Kabadais asked for donations of blankets and towels to give to animal shelters in need of supplies for the animals residing there.  Matthew Monet asked for school supply donations for primary school students whose families are struggling with the rising cost of living. Kaitlyn Wycherley and Alanna Meseha organised and requested a gift from all the Year 12 students which will be passed on to a child in need as a present at Christmas.  Phoenix Ly organised a Teacher car wash day to raise money for Vinnies, while Alisha Della-Salandra has been offering hair wash and blow wave sessions for staff, also raising funds for Vinnies. Meanwhile,  Ayden Jansz put together a valuable car maintenance session for Year 12 students. These are just a few of the Community Projects carried out by our VCE VM students which showcases the importance of Community connections.  We are so proud of their commitment and positive impact they are making in our school community.
