Vinnies News
Vinnies Christmas Appeal.
This Year, our Year 12 cohort will be setting an example for the rest of the school community to follow. One of their final acts of giving will be to place a toy for a child aged 1-18, under the Giving Tree at their farewell assembly on Thursday.
This appeal will now be opened to the rest of the school community. We are seeking donations of newly purchased toys for children of all ages, which will be distributed to families within the local community who may be struggling this festive season to provide gifts for their children.
All donations can be placed directly under the Giving Tree, located in the Resource Centre, or handed to Ms Douglass or Ms Mackay.
Assist A Student Appeal
Later this term, Vinnies will be overseeing their final Fundraiser for 2024. This will comprise of a casual clothes/sausage sizzle. The aim is for each Pastoral class to raise the $80 required to educate a child for a year, in a less developed country. This important fundraiser changes lives, because it is well established that education can free a child from the cycle of poverty. More information will be forthcoming, so stay tuned.
