Principal's Report

Dear Parents/Guardians and friends of Nazareth

Today is the last day of our Year 12 formal classes.  After six years of attending the College on a daily basis, the Year 12s will walk out of the College and begin their new journey.  Some will begin preparing for exams, others will commence work or complete their work placements.  Their time has arrived as Nazarenes, and we wish them all the best.

At today’s Year 12 farewell assembly, we acknowledged the fantastic leadership qualities our School Captains and House Captains have displayed throughout the year.  We took the opportunity to do a handover ceremony for the new 2025 School Captains today.

I thank Emma Sidea, Krystal Leah, Georgia Starfas and Kenzel Trinidade and their respective families for your support and the tremendous leadership displayed by each of the captains throughout the year.

The College is pleased to introduce our four (4) College Captains for 2025.  We look forward to working with Abbie Diaz, Gabriella Kakerissa, Jordan Tissera, Victora Tsolakis, and the House Captains, who are yet to be finalised for 2025.

Today’s Assembly was also an opportunity for the Year 12s to respond formally.  I echo their gratitude to all their staff, teaching and non-teaching.  Together, they have assisted the Year 12s throughout their time at the College.

It is now time for the rest of the College to acknowledge and take on what they have pioneered this year.

This year’s addition of the Senior Study Area has become a superb acquisition.  Over the year, our Year 12s have come to value the silent study area.  It has guaranteed them a supervised area in which to complete work without interruption.  I thank the Year 12 pioneers, together with Ms Sandra D’Souza, for setting the study culture for the benefit of all who will use it in the future.

To all the Year 12 families that depart at the end of the year, I wish you the very best and thank you for your support.

God Bless, and thank you for your support.

Mr Sam Cosentino

Principal
