Welcome to Term 4!
I hope the holidays treated your family well and everyone is healthy and happy after the break. Term 4 is 11 weeks and the last official day for students is Friday 19th December.
This term, our goal is to ensure your child is ready for 2026 socially, emotionally and academically.
Term 4 is invariably a busy one so I do encourage you to read the Level Newsletter and regular Compass posts, and record key dates to plan ahead for the term in your own family diary. My goal will be to adequately prepare for 2026 from a staffing, resourcing and budgeting perspective.
I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude again to our wonderful staff and the PFA for their incredible efforts in organising such a successful fete. Their hard work, creativity and commitment made the day one to remember.
I also want to extend my thanks to all the parent volunteers who gave up their time to support the event in so many ways. Your generosity and enthusiasm helped create a warm and vibrant community atmosphere that our students and families truly enjoyed.
My sincere apologies that I did not acknowledge everyone’s contributions in my Compass post at the end of term 3. Please know how much I value and appreciate the dedication shown by our whole school community in making this fete such a wonderful celebration.
At our final assembly for Term 3, we proudly recognised the students who took part in the Premier’s Reading Challenge. Their commitment to reading and their love of books was inspiring to see. The photos captured the pride and excitement on their faces as they celebrated their achievement. Congratulations to all participants—you have made our school community very proud!
The PDF attached is tailored to Year 6 students as they front their last term of Primary School and navigate the new landscape of Year 7- worth going through with your child if they are in Year 6.
With thanks,
Karen Roberts
