Welcome back to another busy and exciting term!
Our Level 4 students have certainly hit the ground running with their camp at Marysville, and by all accounts, it was an incredible experience. The photos look fantastic, and it’s clear everyone had an amazing time. I’m looking forward to hearing more about their adventures next week.

This term is shaping up to be another full and rewarding one, with plenty of learning, fun experiences, excursions, camps, and sporting opportunities for our students to enjoy.
Later in the term, we will kick off our formal 2026 Prep Transition Program as well as our Whole School Transition sessions, helping students prepare confidently for the year ahead.
A reminder of our upcoming pupil-free days this term:
Please add these dates to your calendar.
As we settle back into routine, just a few quick reminders:
School Uniform: Full school uniform should be worn every day.
SunSmart: From September 1 to April 30, all students are required to wear a broad-brimmed hat in line with our SunSmart policy. If your child needs a hat (due to being lost, or poor condition), please contact Hip Pocket or the school office.
Please make sure all hats and jumpers are clearly named — mornings are still cool and afternoons are warming up, which means items are often left behind. Named items can be returned quickly.
Bike Track: Please remind your child that they are not to use the bike track while in school uniform or without supervision, as this is a safety concern.
Mobile phones (and smart watches): A reminder that these devices must not be used during school hours and should be handed into the school office upon arrival, in line with the DEPTs Mobile Phone Policy. https://echucaeastps.vic.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Mobile-Phones.pdf
This policy helps support a safe, focused, and respectful learning environment for all students.
Please take some time to recharge after our first week of school. With daylight saving now underway, it can take some time for our bodies (and our kids) to adjust to the time change. So rest up and we look forward to seeing you all next week.
