Curriculum

Term 3 concludes with a considerable focus on assessment by all students. Year 11 have recently completed their exam block and will now shift to their Year 12 HSC courses on their return in Term 4. Year 10 have completed assessment for each of their courses, and are gearing up for their end of year exams in Weeks 2 & 3 of next term. Students in Year 7-9 have done much work in class as well as completing common tasks in each subject.
All of this assessment work is aimed at demonstration of student learning growth. Many are commended for their progress and growth, while others could benefit from a renewed and dedicated focus in Term 4. All students are encouraged to return in Term 4 with an intentional focus to undertake their Term 4 assessment. This includes strong use of class time, seeking and incorporating teacher feedback, revising lesson content, and completing all homework and class tasks to the best of their ability. All students are encouraged to aim for their strongest performances in Term 4 to ensure their Semester 2 report is an accurate reflection of their knowledge and skills.
