Director of Learning and Teaching

Mrs Anna Robertson

Welcome to Term Four

As we step into our final term of 2025, there is much to look forward to across the College as we prepare students for a confident transition into 2026.

Over the coming weeks, Senior School families in Years 7–11 will receive confirmation of their subjects for next year. This process will be implemented in a strategically stepped approach, enabling us to ensure that each student’s program aligns with their individual learning goals and pathways. Some students who are still undergoing review of their current load for 2026 may experience a short delay; however, we endeavour to provide confirmation to all VCE 2026 families within the next fortnight, alongside early access to resources and booklists to support the Step-Up period.

In the coming month, parents and students in Years 7 and 9 will receive final confirmation of subjects for 2026, along with booklist information (via Campion Books), so preparations for next year can begin.

Our Step-Up Program, running in Weeks 9–10 (2–11 December), provides an exciting introduction to each student’s new course. During this time, students will meet their teachers and class groups and begin to engage with course content. Step-Up is a vital part of our academic program, designed to set students up for success from the very first day of the new school year. We ask families to please support full attendance during this period.

As always, if you have any questions or wish to discuss your child’s learning journey, please don’t hesitate to contact me at arobertson@hamiltoncollege.vic.edu.au

I look forward to a wonderful and productive Term Four ahead for all our students, families, and staff as we conclude another successful year of learning and growth at College.
