Celebrating Success, Growth, and Connection
This week, our community came together to celebrate our Thrive Awards Night — an evening that recognised not only the achievements of our outstanding students but the collective culture of thriving that defines Balmoral. The atmosphere was one of pride, reflection, and inspiration, as we acknowledged the many ways our students continue to measure their own growth, lead with authenticity, and contribute meaningfully to our school community.
As we move deeper into Term 4, this celebration serves as a timely reminder of our shared commitment to continued growth and impact. Our students are demonstrating determination and resilience as they work toward their final goals for the year, supported by teachers who continue to guide, challenge, and inspire them to achieve their personal best.
For our Year 12 students, next week marks their final days of formal lessons before external exams commence. Their focus, maturity, and sense of belonging have been remarkable. In their final week of classes, our seniors are honouring their time at Balmoral with themed celebrations designed by their own leadership group — a reflection of the unity, creativity, and connection that have defined their journey as a cohort.
Next week, we look forward to sharing these moments with our community through social media as we celebrate our Year 12 students and the legacy they leave behind.
To all students — continue to thrive, continue to lead, and continue to be the reason Balmoral is a place of inspiration and impact. Let’s finish the year with the same energy and purpose that have made 2025 such a memorable and successful year for our school.
Timothy Barraud,
Principal
