October Musings

I often look in wonder around our playground and reflect on how students make choices and decide to participate in a game or not ~  a game of tiggy, soccer, the Adventure Playground, downball, or, as these five students above chose during one of their lunchtimes, the outdoor Library space. It's a great space to sit, relax and catch up with friends in a quiet environment.

Another aspect of our school that I love is the relationships we have with the parent community. A fantastic group of people who place their trust in us each day to help develop their most precious asset ~  their child. A school our size relies on volunteers to help with the daily running of the place. These three supermums, Tissa, Cettina and Sally do a wonderful job working the Uniform shop throughout the week. We are extremely fortunate to have them (and their little ones!) at Sacred Heart.

Have a great weekend!
