Principal's Message
From the Principal
Dear Families of Our Lady Star of the Sea,
As we reach the end of another busy and rewarding term, I write to express my sincere gratitude to our entire school community. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you for your incredible engagement and support this term. We have had a number of events, and the community spirit present at each one has been wonderful to witness. It is your partnership that makes Our Lady Star of the Sea such a special place.
On behalf of our community, I would like to share some very joyful news. We extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes to Miss Matilda Raper and her fiancé, Sam, who will be married during the school holidays. We wish you all the best for a wonderful wedding day and a life filled with happiness and love. When Miss Raper returns next term, she will be Mrs Lennon. God Bless you both as you begin this beautiful new chapter together.
What a fantastic way to conclude our term with our vibrant Multicultural Day celebrations today! It was a brilliant showcase of the diversity and unity that enriches our school. My sincere thanks go to Mrs Fairhall and the staff for their efforts in organising such a wonderful day celebrating the many cultures that make up Our Lady Star of the Sea. Again, thank you to the many families that joined us in our celebrations; your presence made the day truly special. This day was chosen as it follows the United Nations International Day of Peace on the 21st of September, reminding us of the harmony and understanding we cherish in our community.
Dear God,
We are all different, and we are all special. Thank you for making each of us unique. Help us to be friends with everyone, No matter where they come from, Or what they look like. Help us to make sure everyone feels welcome and safe.
Amen.
Thank you once again for a fantastic term. I hope you have a wonderful break with your children and keep safe over the holiday period. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the start of Term 4 on Monday 13th October.
