😍A feel-good Friday Festival, a turtle tank tidy 🐢 and goodbye Simon and Garfunkel hello……🎶🎸🥁
Friday Festival. A time of celebration led by a group of year six students and organised by a team of garden regulars 😇. We have bracelet making, hair braiding (if only I had hair 😬), animal husbandry, herb bunch making and more. Check out the crowds. You don’t get this at Glastonbury or Coachella that’s for sure. It’s the biggest thing this side of the Mordi Creek 🎣.
From wishing well to turtle tank. The cleaning team came in to scrub the well 🧽. What a job team! Is there any chance you could come around to my place?
Next, we trucked in some rocks, hired some go-go gophers to put the rocks into the well and found some students to throw in a few plants. Finally on Thursday, for Reptile Wednesday 🤪😵💫(I’m confused too), we caught some feeder fish 🐟 to put in our freshly filled pond 💪. Unbelievable! Check out our new nets. They’re awesome and the students love them 😍.
Forget about Simon and Garfunkel check out Samuel and Jimmy-funk-l 🙄 (I’m sorry it’s the best I could do). As if you didn’t know, they’re our resident garden musos 😍 and wowee they can play. We hired them for the Friday Festival. Good vibes 😎 boys, thanks for the jam session 🤩. We’ve picked up a couple of drummers too. They’ve been named The Bucket Beat Boys 🪣 …not bad hey! Many thanks to Aris and Levi. Their motto is ‘beat boy, beat boy hit that perfect bucket beat boy’. I’m sure I’ve heard that somewhere before 🤔.
