For Inquiry learning in Prep/1 we have been investigating 'Earth and Space'! 

Last week we researched nighttime and daytime and the different seasons and how this is related to the rotation of the Earth.  We made paper dolls with a variety of clothing choices related to different scenarios depending on when Australia receives the most sun's rays. The students appeared to really enjoy this activity and it was so lovely to see everyone so engaged. 

This Inquiry has led to many fascinating conversations about the planets, features of Earth, the sun and moon, space travel, constellations, cloud types and so much more!
