Safe travel to and from school
Riding:
Riding to school is a great way to travel to and from school. Riding to school has many benefits including reducing our carbon footprint as well as the increase of daily physical activity which we highly encourage. We would like to remind our students to remember to always ensure they have their helmets on and they are clipped up. Students are also reminded to abide by all road laws and look carefully for cars before crossing roads.
Walking:
Similarly to riding, there are many benefits to walking to school. We ask those who walk to the college to always use the crossings to cross the road, even when being accompanied by an adult.
Car Travel:
A reminder to all drivers to safely use the roundabout and parking bays in and around the College. When using the vacant block, we ask all cars enter and exit via the drive-in point. Cars driving straight from the block into the roundabout pose significant safety risks. With the request of neighbouring properties, we kindly ask that you don’t park over driveways or on the nature strip of surrounding homes. We ask that all people are safely secured in cars wearing a seat belt and children who are legally required to be fastened in car seats, are safely strapped into their car seats. We acknowledge when over 500 people are leaving the College at the same time, this creates congestion. We appreciate your patience and respect to ensure all our young people and community members can travel to and from school safely.

Picking up students during school hours:
Parents/carers must make contact with the office if they wish to collect a student(s) during learning time prior to collection which must take place at reception. Parents/carers MUST sign the student out before leaving St Anne’s College grounds.
Students who become unwell or injured during the school day are sent by a Learning Mentor to the administration office for medical attention. Every effort is made by staff to aid and encourage recovery, however, when medical care is beyond the capacity of our staff, parents or emergency contacts will be notified and asked to collect the child.

10:45am - 11:20am: Recess/supervised eating
11:20am - 12:10pm: Learning session three
12:10pm - 1:00pm: Learning session four
1:00pm - 1:35pm: Lunch/supervised eating/outdoor exploration
1:35pm - 2:25pm: Learning session five
2:25pm - 3:15pm: Learning session six
3:15pm: Dismissal
