Hannah's Big Chop
Courage for Cancer
Hi there!
My name is Hannah and I am 8 years old. I attend St Joseph's Primary School, Junee.
I have been growing my hair for a REALLY long time and I have always wanted to donate it. I hope that my hair can be used to make a wig for kids who have cancer and have lost their hair due to treatment.
My school is supporting me, and so is one of my favourite teachers, Mrs. Huard. Mrs Huard's brother, Rick Keast, passed away in 2009 from a brain tumour and I want to support families like hers too. Through the Mark Hughes Foundation, Mrs Huard's brother Jason will be participating in The Big Three Trek, a charity walk from the SCG to McDonald Jones Stadium from June 14-16 2024, raising awareness and funds for brain cancer research.
So, what can you do to support me in my brave mission? DONATE! A little or a lot! Every dollar counts! I am hoping to raise as much money as possible to go towards the Mark Hughes Foundation for their research and support of brain cancer patients and their families.

Thank you!
