The students have had another go at writing a story again this week. This week they have had a bit more freedom to write the stories themselves but they had to stick to the prompt 'How the Echidnas got their spikes'. They had to think of who the characters were, the setting, the problem, and the solution. Please enjoy reading the stories the students wrote. 

During humanities, we had a look at different Aboriginal symbols they used for storytelling. We went outside and selected a piece of bark and students were able to come in and practice drawing some of the symbols of their choice on the piece of bark with fine liner pens. Students had the chance to share what symbols they chose to draw and what they looked like.
