National Simultaneous Storytime

Prep - Year 2 students were greeted by a familiar blue bird as they entered the BPAC for National Simultaneous Storytime. We enjoyed an animated, Auslan reading of Bowerbird Blues by Aura Parker. Mrs Sernio has been using this delightful story over the past fortnight to teach students about alliteration, narrative structure and the mystery of the bower bird. She has also emphasised the themes of longing and connection, linking them to our faith in God.
