House Cross Country
It was a great atmosphere during our House Cross Country on Tuesday 21 May when most of our students took on the 3,000m course to represent their Houses. In sunny, but cool running weather Zion Crusaders (Blue House) took the Cross Country crown from Gibeon Warriors to be announced winners by only 39 points. It was a competitive contest between the three Houses with the students participating on the day gaining points for their Houses.
The course was slightly different this year. All students started their race on the oval and ran through the Teardrop car park before they exited the small gate at the Old Melbourne Rd bus stop where they turned back to the College’s main entrance. From there the course took them to the border of the property past Oxley Kids before they headed back up heart break hill towards the finish line on the oval.
