Congratulations to Dinath Silva (0X3) for his recent success at the 2024 Coles Australian Little Athletics Championships held in Adelaide in April 2024. Dinath placed second in the country in the U15s 800m event.

Divisional Badminton 

Unyielding! On Tuesday 4 June, Nossal’s four badminton teams (Senior Girls, Senior Boys, Intermediate Boys, and Intermediate Girls) competed at Division finals. 

All four teams finished as division champions without dropping a single game in the process. Despite the absence of the talented Mr Armistead, Mr Hu and Mr Sacco, combined with the experience that was present amongst the players, managed to guide Nossal to another win in Division.

Throughout the day, all players showcased outstanding skill and sportsmanship, competing against other schools with dignity and acknowledging the efforts of the opposing players. Although at times matches got more intense, it ultimately was not enough to stop our players from sweeping the competition in a dominating fashion.

Thank you to Mr Hu and Mr Sacco for supervising (and coaching) on the day, and Mr Armistead for organising the teams. Best of luck to all the teams for Regional Finals!
