College Updates

Copperfield College supports our natural environment.

The Food teachers would like to ask parents to send all students to food classes please with the  food container to take home their prepared food items and if they wish to eat the food at school a fork or spoon.

For environmental reason we cannot issue disposable plastic containers to students. The only exception will be brown paper bags.

As part of the upgrade to the Grounds at Delahey Campus 2 new water fountains have been installed and a water refill station for drink bottles.

Copperfield College Delahey is supporting the environment with gradual consistent actions.

If you could please put a note in school lunch boxes advising to put vegetable scraps into the compost bins that are provided that would be a big win for the Environment.

Elevate and Educate Parent Webinars

As part of our year 7 to 10 curriculum, students participate in an Elevate and Educate sessions that deliver delivers high-impact workshops to our students that help to develop their study skills, motivation, and exam preparation.  Parents/Carers can participate in a series of webinars where they can help support their child at home by reinforcing the skills they're learning at school. These sessions have been advertised on our school social accounts.

Copperfield College’s parent/carer engagement during term 1 put the college in the top 20% of schools with attendance.  These sessions were a real hit with our community, with attendees sharing some great feedback, some of which I've included below:

"I always make sure we are able to watch the Elevate webinars as they have been so helpful, can't wait for next term’s sessions!"

"Thank you so much, these are really insightful and such a fresh approach."

“Over Easter, we're going to make sure to catch up on the recordings for next term. Thank you for the links, this is crucial information for my Year 11 sons!”
