Biketober

Today was our final Wednesday of Biketober! Well done to all of you who have rode, scooted or walked to school this month.

Year 4-6 Family Puberty Night

All families from Year 4-6 should have received information and an expression of interest form for our upcoming Family Puberty Night. If you haven't yet responded and would like to attend, please return the EOI form to the office. This is an excellent opportunity to start some important conversations with your child. Information about the session was included in the information sent home. The online session is on Tuesday November 12th - 7pm.

Maths Explorer and Maths Olympiad

Over the last two terms some of our students have been competing in programs run by Australasian Problem Solving Mathematical Olympiads (APSMO). Some of our Year 3/4 students have been competing in the Maths Explorer program and some of our Year 5/6 students in the Maths Olympiad competition. In our 5/6 group we had two students achieve overall results which put them in the top 25% of all competitors, a great achievement. We are so proud of all our students who took part, showing persistence and risk taking throughout when solving complex, multi-step problems.

Year 3/4 Swimming Program

Please be sure to keep an eye out tomorrow in your child's backpack for the swimming program commitment note. Please return your completed slip as soon as possible.
