Grade 1/2 News

Swimming week for the 1/2’s has been a very exciting time! Students have been very busy improving their skills.

In English, we have been working on writing recounts. 

This has included writing about their holidays, swimming and creating their own autobiographies. 

Students have been focussing on the features of a recount, as well as adding detail to their writing. 

In Mathematics we have returned to multiplication and division. Students have been practising sharing into equal groups, as well as moving on to using remainders. 

We will have a Liturgy at 11:30am this Wednesday the 30th of October at our school chapel. Friends and families are welcome to join us.

Last term we had ecologists from Winton Wetlands visit. A colouring competition was involved on the day. These are the winners! Well done to everyone for having a go.
