Mad About Science Incursion

This week, the 5/6 level participated in a Chemistry Incursion called ‘Chemical Chaos’. We learned a lot about different types of chemicals and chemical reactions. We conducted various experiments, some of which ensued in chemical explosions. The 5/6 students explored the differences between various kinds of chemical reactions. Some of the chemicals we mixed together were cabbage water, baking soda, vinegar and water. We all had so much fun learning and experimenting with different types of chemicals.
