PSA Summer Season – Round 2 Recap

Our first round of the summer season, saw Trinity come up against a tough Christ Church opponent in all sports and grades. Well done to our 1st VI Volleyball and 1st VIII Tennis teams on having first up wins:

  • 1st V Basketball – TC 85 def by CCGS 92
  • 1st XI Cricket – TC 10/186 def by CCGS 4/188
  • 1st VIII Tennis – TC 14 def CCGS 10
  • 1st VI Volleyball – TC 3 def CCGS 2
  • 1st VII Water Polo – TC 1 def by CCGS 33

In other results, both our Senior Basketball teams and Year 9 teams were outstanding, winning 7 out of 10, and 5 out of 6 games respectfully. Whilst in Volleyball, 11 out of the 12 Volleyball teams in both senior and middle school were victorious. These results show the tremendous depth that Trinity currently has in Volleyball and will hopefully lead to more wins this season.


PSA Summer Season – Round 3 

Round 3 of the summer season sees us come up against Scotch College in an away fixture. Parents are welcome to attend the games and support their son throughout the two days of fixtures. 

 

1st team details against Scotch on Saturday 26 October:

  • Basketball – 10.30am @ Scotch College gym
  • Cricket – 9.30am @ Scotch Playing Fields (Memorial oval)
  • Rowing – Aquinas Regatta
  • Tennis – 8.30am @ Scotch Playing Fields (Jenkinson)
  • Volleyball – 10.00am @ TC Sports Centre
  • Water Polo – 9.30am @ Hale School Pool

Good luck to all the Rowing crews in their first Regatta of the season.


Year 11 Exam Break – Sport expectations

During the two-week exam period, as well as the Christian Service week (weeks 5-7), it will be compulsory for all year 11 students to attend Saturday fixtures:

  • 9th November – Versus Guildford
  • 16th November – Versus Aquinas
  • 23rd November – Versus Wesley

Training will not be compulsory during this time; however, students are encouraged to attend as many as possible. Communication with staff and coaches is essential throughout this period.
