Term 4 Swimming

We hope to have the pool up and running in week 7 this term. There are a number of checks and tests that need to be completed before we can do this. Please join the school facebook group to see when it will be open to the community and also the rules and expectations when utilising the pool outside of school hours. This will be limited due to the availability of staff to be able to open the pool and ensure it remains clean for everyone.

Learning for Term 4

For Hapori Friday this term we have three options:

Stop Motion - Students are learning to design stop motion animation through a range of mediums including lego men, drawing and digital resources.

Handyman - Within our Handyman group students are developing an understanding of civic duty and looking after the resources we have around the school. They have been working on mini-projects including painting the wall, gardening, cleaning up around the school.

Hui/Fono Parent Evening

We would love it if you can make it to our Hui/Fono evening on Thursday  14th November at 6pm in Wahi Pakari.

We would like your feedback on our Strategic plan, students learning for 2025 and also an opportunity to have a Q & A session with Miss Prentice and also gain some feedback on what you would like your child to learn more about in 2025.

We will have a light super afterwards.

Your feedback is vital in being able to plan for 2025 so we hope you can all make it.

Kids will be entertained in Wahi Koru with a movie with two of our fantastic teachers during this time. Only students who's parents attend the Hui/Fono are to be at the movie night. They will be provided with some popcorn, and can bring their own snacks. They can also dress in their Pjs for the event.

If you can make it could you please confirm adults attending through the link that was email that would be really helpful.

Hats

Term 4 means that the children are required to wear their school hat. Please make sure your child has one and it is named on the inside. Hats can be purchased from Kalene at the office for $15.
