Year One - Spotlight on Learning

Dear Families,

This week, our Foundation and Year One students shone brightly during their Mass, impressing everyone with their beautiful singing and confident reading. Their respectful behavior in church truly showcased their growth and commitment.

In literacy, our little learners completed the final sounds in the Little Learners Love Literacy sequence. A big thank you to all families for continuing to support reading at home—every moment spent reading together makes a difference!

In SEL, students are learning about “Big Problems” and “Small Problems.” They’re discovering how to differentiate between the two, helping them develop problem-solving skills and emotional resilience.

We’re also excited to announce that the Kids Roar session will begin next week for students at school, with an evening session for parents. Please refer to the school events page for more information.

Keep up the fantastic work, everyone!

Kind regards,

The Year 1 Community.
