New Executive elected for the Environmental Council

McCarthy Environmental Council starts Term 4 with a new Executive being appointed for 2024-2025. The elections for the Executive occurred during Term 3, as some of the outgoing members were Year 12 students. I wish to thank Hallie Scott, Chelsea Miller, Charlette Lyon and Gemma Coates for doing a great job leading the Environmental Council. Under their leadership, they initiated the 10c Earn and Return Program which is now running in the school.

Congratulations to the new Environmental Council Executive, which will be led by Charlette Lyon as President, Lauren Barnes as Vice President, Baylee Whitworth as Communications Officer, Shania Coppola-Smith as Secretary and Summer Wenborn as Treasurer. 

I look forward to seeing what direction they will take the Environmental Council for the rest of 2024 and 2025. 

With new projects starting, I invite anyone who is interested in making a difference or wants to do something different at the school to come and join the Environmental Council. The Environmental Council meets every Thursday, Second break in Lab 1.
