Welcome back to Term 4! It has been so wonderful to see the students settled and ready for our Last Term.
English
In English, we have continued revising previous sounds. We have been reading and writing words containing 4-5 sounds!!
Students have started using the Sky Grass Dirt handwriting book to practice the formation of both uppercase and lowercase letters.
In Story champs, we are beginning to write our own stories! We have been retelling a familiar story and using this as a guide to write our own stories. Our stories include, character/s, a problem, a feeling, a solution to the problem and an ending.
This Term our Library has opened up! We now have the opportunity to borrow new books each week! Below are the days that each class will visit the library.
*Students are able to borrow if they have their reading satchel with them. They will hold onto the books for a week and they will need to be returned before borrowing a new one.
