Principal's Report

Dear Parents, Friends and Father Arsenio,

It has certainly been a busy couple of weeks. The highlight to date at least was another busy and well attended 'Grandparent's Day.' Judging by the feedback it was enjoyed by all who attended. I really appreciate the presence of the student's family members adding to the sense of community at our school.

This week has also been a busy one.  My apologies for any families who were  inconvenienced by both Italian Day and Sports Day occuring in the same week. This will be taken into consideration next year. We did try to minimise the impact on student learning by setting the week up this way however it seems to have caused issues for some families. I know the students will appreciate Italian Day and then Sport's Day.

I am pleased (and relieved!) to announce that I have appointed Sheridan Leeson to replace Melissa Barrett. Sheridan comes to us from Holy Saviour school in Vermont South. She is experienced in the work required and will begin at our school in 2025. Laurel Hill is temporarily filling the position until then. Welcome to both ladies.

Given the time of year we are setting classes for 2025.  If you have any specific requests or issues please make a point of discussing these with your child's current teacher.
