IEP Update

DET has provided an updated template: 2026 - CPS IEP Template  which is now in the Wellbeing folder in templates.

This resource issupported by professional learning for staff to develop IEPs:

• IEP eLearning module on LearnED – available via eduPay (staff login required)
• IEP short course – available via the VDEI website.

OHS - Safe Movement in the Yard

Could all teachers please remind students about safe movement in the playground, particularly around the Senior Campus where we are likely to experience slips, trips and collisions at busy times.  Please go through the following points with your students and reinforce when you are on yard duty:

• Walk only on ramps, staircases etc
• go slowly around corners- particularly where you can't see who is coming the other way
• take care on the gravel areas of the Basketball court, these are slippery.

Please ensure you log any safety concerns on EduSafe Plus and/or see Kim or Sue if this becomes a concern.

STUDENT CONSENT FLAGS:

Student Media Consent Flags will be updated on Compass by Wednesday 3pm. 

There will be a flag for a student if they have said NO to one of the following:

1. I consent to the use of images of my child within the physical school environment, eg classrooms, noticeboards
2. I consent to the use of images of my child within the school community eg, digital platforms, newsletter, school magazine
3. I consent to the use of images of my child beyond the school community/publicly, i.e. the school’s website and social media accounts

Other consent flags will be updated on Compass by Friday 3pm, if you need any this data prior to Compass being updated please let me know and I can send it to you.
