As I mentioned in last week's newsletter - the students and I have been full of more excitement than usual in the Music room, as we begin to prepare for our whole school production. 

I am excited to announce that we have a venue and date for our musical. 

Antoniette and I visited Our Lady of Mercy College, also known as OLMC, just down the road in Heidelberg during the week. 

They have a beautiful performing arts theatre that we will use, and children were excited to hear it had an automatic curtain, lots of great lighting and microphones and even a huge backstage area and tiered seating for our audience.

Our performance will be in the last week of Term Two on the evening of Thursday 3rd of July; so please keep that date free. 

More details about ticketing arrangements and also ways parents can help will be sent out during Term 2.
