Year 9 & 10 Sub-School News

Assistant Principal's Report
As the term draws to a close it is a chance to reflect on all the wonderful events, activities and learning that have taken place throughout the term.
Year 10 Outdoor Education students travelled to Anglesea for their surf camp and contended with perfect weather one day then lightning and torrential rain the next. The students coped with the changing conditions and enjoyed the opportunity to develop their camping and surfing skills.
Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences were well attended and provided the opportunity for parents to meet with the teachers of their child.
We wish all our families a safe and restful holiday and look forward to seeing you back on Tuesday 22 April, when our Year 10 students will depart for their camp to Phillip Island.
A reminder to our community that the Personal Property Policy can be found here and the Photographing, Filming and Recording Students policy can be found here.

Year 9
A wonderful term comes to an end for our group of energetic and diligent Year 9 students. There have been many highlights of this term including Proactivity, House Swimming and House Athletics. But it is at this point of the term that we would like to recognise the hours of preparation and study that the Year 9’s have demonstrated leading into their assessments over the past 2 weeks. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and these work habits are the cornerstone for your future as you move towards senior school.
A highlight this week was Easter Bunny visiting our Year 9 Wellbeing classes. No one is quite certain as to who the Easter Bunny was, but it certainly brightened each student’s day when they received a chocolate egg.
Enjoy the holiday period and use this time to reset and recuperate from your studies!
