Hot Cross Bun Drive

P&F would like to thank students and their families for ordering hot cross buns from our fundraiser through Bakers Delight Mid Valley this week.  A total of 104 packs were ordered which is a fantastic outcome for our fundraising efforts. It was almost neck-and-neck for the most popular flavour - 37 choc chip, 34 traditional, 22 apple & cinnamon, and 11 fruit free were ordered. We hope students enjoy their treats across the holidays.  As they were delivered fresh, they can even be popped in the freezer for lunch boxes - that is, if there are any leftovers! The school certainly smelled delicious as students went home with their goodies yesterday.  Thank you to our Parent Helpers for sorting and delivering orders to classrooms.

Mother's Day Stall

P&F will be holding their Mother's Day Stall as follows:

Thursday 8th May, 9am-1pm

This year, we have some exciting new gift ideas for students to bring home to their loved ones. Students will have the opportunity to purchase gifts ranging from $1 to $6, with a spending limit of $10 and 2 gifts per student. There will be a second chance stall during recess on Friday 9th May for those students still wanting to purchase items for their mum, grandparent, carer or other loved ones. Please ensure money is in a secure zip-lock bag or envelope to help prevent students losing their money on the day. Mother's Day this year is on Sunday 11th May.

📢 We urgently need volunteers!  If there are any parents (in particular any dads) that would be willing to help for either day it would be much appreciated - please contact us to let us know of your interest via email:  TPSpandfSecretary@gmail.com

Change of P&F Title

We would like to let families know, we have adopted a new Constitution in line with the most recent Department of Education policies. With this comes a new name - we are now referred to as the "Trafalgar Primary Parents & Friends Association", which can still be shortened to "P&F".  Our meetings, events and fundraisers are still managed by a committee of registered members, with oversight still maintained by the Principal and School Council. All funds raised continue to go to the school. You will start to see our new title listed on our communications going forward. If you have any questions or would like to know more about our Constitution, please get in touch.

Next P&F Meeting

Date: Wednesday 7th May 2025

Time: 7- 8pm

Location: Adult Learning Centre, Trafalgar Primary School (opposite the office)

Meetings are usually the first Wednesday of each month, except during school holidays. Feel free to come along and learn about the events we are planning, and how we hope to support the school, our students and their families this year.

Parents and Carers interested in helping for our events can register using Google form HERE.

If you have any feedback, questions, would like to help for events, or would like to join our Association, please contact us on TPSpandfSecretary@gmail.com
