Yr 11 student Violet McGennisken has been selected into the Ballarat Rebels U18s team for this season! We congratulate her on her achievement.

Violet is pictured here at the jumper presentation last weekend. Training commenced in Ballarat on March 12th and the season opener is on April 5th.

Violets dream draft AFL Club is Hawks, her favourite position is CHF.

Her pre-game meal is Weetbix. Violets pregame ritual is always to have her hair straight for sport, not curly!

Violet never believed that she had the capabilities of begin drafted. Violet credits Mr Hose and the HC AFL academy program. In year 7 Violet continued to doubt herself, however she was given so much encouragement and guidance and puts it down the hard work.

We look forward to seeing how Violet progresses through the girls football pathways.
