Athletics Carnival
The 2025 Athletics Carnival was a thrilling celebration of Village spirit, leaving behind unforgettable memories and fostering a sense of friendly competition. The perfect weather for Athletics Carnival provided an ideal setting for our athletes to shine. The clear skies and pleasant conditions made for an unforgettable event, allowing students to give their best performances and truly showcase their talent. Students embraced the day with enthusiasm, filling the day with infectious positivity and energy that made it truly exceptional.
The highlight of the event was, without a doubt, the famous Spoke Relay, followed by an exciting series of year-level relays where some results were determined by the narrowest of margins!
The carnival’s excitement peaked with the All-Star 100m sprint, a stand-alone event that brought the fastest eight male and fastest eight female athletes together for a thrilling race. Competing against others of the same gender, this high-stakes race captivated the entire crowd. It was particularly exciting to see some younger year level students going head-to-head with Year 12 students!
A huge congratulations to Mitchell for securing the win by earning the most points and claiming the Athletics Shield.
Below, you'll find the individual champions, as well as the final point standings.

Metropolitan Fire Service: Road Awareness Program
On Friday of Week 7 Endeavour College was pleased to host the MFS RAP presented by firefighter Josh and road crash survivor Yudhi.
The presentation used case studies, scenarios and a first-person testimony to highlight road safety, the risks of inattentive driving, and how young people are over-represented in road trauma statistics. While hard hitting and at times confronting, it forced our students to consider the responsibilities of drivers and passengers, as well as the physical and emotional consequences that result when things go wrong.
Yudhi recounted the horrific injuries he sustained from a crash while riding his motorcycle, and his long and arduous recovery. Listening to his journey through successive surgeries and a recovery process that involved having to learn to walk and talk again, students were touched by his courage and humility.
Thoughts from our students:
“This program was really educative and helped me realise the dangers of risk taking on the road. I am really proud of Yudhi for sharing his story as it was a big eye opener. I would recommend this to everyone.”
“The program genuinely changed my perspective especially when it comes to the risks I take while driving thinking its harmless. Yudhi’s story was so inspiring. It changed my view on driving forever.”
“It really hit me deep when I realised that a car is a weapon and that going over the speed limit, using my phone or even playing loud music is a risk.”
Before the presentation, 37% of the cohort identified as being responsible drivers, and after the presentation 100% indicated they planned to be responsible road users in the future.
The RAP program will be delivered to the Year 11 cohort in Term 4.

Harmony Day
We are proud of our cultural diversity at Endeavour College and today we celebrated Harmony Day as a community!
Our Endeavour community is made up of students and staff from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds including from Indigenous cultures and language groups.
Harmony Day occurs on the 21st of March each year and the day is an opportunity to recognise Australia’s cultural diversity, bring all community members together to promote inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for all. Harmony Day coincides with the United Nation’s International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
Here at Endeavour today, our Cultural Leaders, Emily Heng and Jamie Yii, along with our Principal, Mr Baird, shared how the Harmony Day philosophy aligns with the Endeavour Way values of Love, Courage, Forgiveness and Hope.
They reiterated how it is important to treat each other with respect regardless of our differences and stand up against racism and discrimination.
The quote “No matter who you are, no matter where you come from, you are welcome at Endeavour” was a resonant message from our Cultural Captains at our assembly this morning. We also heard from students and staff across the College as they shared their cultural traditions and languages.
Students also had the opportunity today to wear their cultural dress, and there were many impressive cultural outfits throughout the community! Many students also wore orange colours to support Harmony Day as orange has traditionally symbolised social communication, the freedom of ideas and the encouragement of mutual respect. Donations from today’s events are in support of our Indonesia Service Tour departing later this year.
In the Mall at lunchtime, students danced to music from around the world in a celebration of different cultures and languages and it was amazing to see students and staff sharing authentic conversations about their heritage and traditions.
Thank you to all students and staff for their support of and participation in Harmony Day 2025 at Endeavour College!
