‘Mystery Readers’ in Foundation!

To support the Foundation children in continuing to get to know other adults ‘who can help them’ around the school, Foundation children have been enjoying a ‘Mystery Reader’ visitor each week. These Mystery Readers introduced themselves to the Foundation children, their role in the school and share their favourite picture story book with the classes! We have loved learning who our new ‘Mystery Reader’ is each week and listening to their stories! 

In Science we are observing different materials! In preparation for a visit from the Big Bad Wolf we investigated building a home just like the little pigs did, choosing to work with  just one material (straws, sticks, cardboard) and sticky stuff! We tested our homes on the big bad fan! Next time, we look forward to using a range of different materials!
