Canteen Fun Day Term 1 – Week 10, Friday 4 April

Get ready to treat your tastebuds and support our school because Canteen Fun Day (CFD) is just around the corner! We're talking about those special, once-a-term delights that get everyone buzzing – think mouthwatering sausage sizzles, cheesy pizzas, and refreshing frozen yogurt! Yum!

It's amazing to see how many students, even those who don't usually order from the canteen, join in the CFD fun. It's a fantastic chance for them to enjoy a special treat and contribute to our school community. Every order makes a difference!

Now, to make this Fun Day truly spectacular, we need your amazing help! We're expecting a flurry of orders, much more than our usual daily orders, and we need extra hands to make it all happen smoothly.

We know from experience that CFD isn't just fun for the students, it's a blast for the volunteers too! It's a chance to connect with other parents, share some laughs, and be part of creating a truly special day for our kids.

Guess what? The CPS Canteen Committee has been dreaming up some delicious new ideas, and we need your help to bring them to life! We meet once a term to brainstorm ways to make our canteen even better, and this time, we're focusing on adding a burst of freshness and that warm, homemade touch.

Imagine: vibrant, freshly cut fruit cups bursting with flavour, and the irresistible aroma of homemade sweet and savoury muffins and cookies wafting through the school! We think it would be absolutely amazing for our students to have these wholesome and tasty options.

But here's the thing: to make those scrumptious homemade goodies a reality, we need a few passionate volunteers to join our baking brigade! We're looking for friendly faces who can spare just a 2-hour shift, once a month, to help us create these delightful treats.

If you have a love for baking, a sprinkle of creativity, and a desire to make our students smile, we'd absolutely LOVE to hear from you! It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with other parents, contribute to our school community, and share your culinary talents.

Think of the joy on the kids' faces when they bite into a warm, homemade muffin made with love!
