Principal Report

Mr. Lehane

School Council Update

Thank you to everyone who attended our AGM and School Council meetings this week. I am delighted to share that we now have a fully formed School Council, a vital step in ensuring that Bridgewater Primary continues to thrive.

A strong and engaged council allows us to provide the best possible learning opportunities for our students while also sharing responsibilities among many hands—after all, “many hands make light work.”

I would especially like to express my deep gratitude to those who have generously stepped forward to take on key roles. Your commitment and willingness to contribute are truly appreciated and will help to continuously improve our school!

Cross Country

Today we travelled to Malone Park in Marong for our Cluster Cross Country. All of the Bridgewater students represented the school really well and should be proud of their efforts.

Here are a few snaps from the day, a more detailed report will be in the next newsletter!

Chickens

Our chickens have been busy settling in to their new environment and this week they got to explore their extended yard around the veggie gardens.

We look forward to watching the chickens continue to grow.

NAPLAN

We have now completed our NAPLAN assessments and I would like to congratulate the students who undertook these assessments. They all showed an excellent attitude towards these and should be commended on their efforts.

Child Safety

Child safety and wellbeing at Bridgewater on Loddon Primary School information for families and the school community

Bridgewater on Loddon Primary School  is committed to providing an environment where students are safe and feel safe.

Our child safety framework includes policies, codes and procedures that explain how we support and maintain the safety and wellbeing of our students and protect them from harm. These documents are available on our website: https://www.bwaterps.vic.edu.au/

We are also committed to continuous improvement of our child safety framework. We are currently reviewing our child safety policies and practices to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.

Our students and families are important partners in this process. We welcome your feedback or ideas on ways we can improve our approach to child safety and wellbeing.
