Birthdays will receive a lunch voucher at Defence Club on Tuesday and Thursday.
March
William, Keira, Isobelle, Logan, Zayk and Jack
As a special treat, each of you will receive a free lunch voucher to be redeemed at the school canteen. If you haven’t received your voucher yet, please make sure to stop by Defence Club to collect it before the end of February.
We hope you have a fantastic birthday.
This week in Defence Club, the children got creative by making poppy-themed bookmarks. They designed and painted their own, resulting in beautiful and unique creations. As always, it was lots of fun and a great opportunity for the kids to express themselves artistically. Every Thursday until the end of the term, we’ll continue to enjoy icy poles or slushies!
Save the Date: ANZAC Day Ceremony and Defence Family Morning Tea
We’d like to remind all Defence families to save the date for our upcoming ANZAC Day ceremony at Seymour College. The ceremony will be followed by a catered morning tea, where Defence families are more than welcome to bring their children along.
This lovely tradition, which we introduced in recent years, provides a wonderful opportunity for past and present Defence families to come together, reconnect, and share in the spirit of the day. We hope to see you there!
A big congratulations and warm welcome to Dylan Frost, who will be our Defence Captain for 2025! Dylan is an outstanding student and a fantastic role model for all Defence students. We are excited to see his leadership and positive influence throughout the year.
We look forward to a great year with Dylan at the helm!
A Big Thank You to the Fountain Family and the Reject Shop
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Fountain Family and the team at the Reject Shop for their generous donation of Christmas goodies. This thoughtful contribution is greatly appreciated and will be a wonderful addition to the festive season for our students.
The donation will bring a lot of joy and fun to the students, making this Christmas season even more special. Your kindness is a big help, and we are grateful for your support.
Thank you once again for your generosity!
