END OF TERM 1

We would like to remind families that the last day of Term 1 is Wednesday 2nd April

Finish times for all year levels are as normal.

 

CANTEEN

The last day of trade for the Student Canteen will be Wednesday 2nd April.

 

CAFE 

Food & Drink service will trade as normal on Tuesday, 1st April (not open 2nd April) 

 

END OF TERM BUSES

Afternoon buses will depart as per their normal schedule on Wednesday 2nd April.

 

OFFICE HOURS

  • Reception closes at 4.15pm, Wednesday, 2nd April  (last day of Term 1)
  • Reception will be open until 5.30pm on Parent Teacher Interview Day, Thursday 3rd April
  • Curriculum day, Friday 4th April - office will be open from 9am
  • Normal office hours will resume 8.15am on Tuesday, April 22 (Start of Term 2) 

UNIFORM CHANGEOVER 

Please be reminded that at the beginning of Term 2 there will be a uniform changeover period. Parents are asked to use their discretion as to which uniform is the most suitable for their child/ren to wear during the first two weeks of Term 2. If you need to purchase winter uniform please visit the uniform shop as soon as possible to ensure orders come in time for the cooler weather.

The Uniform Shop's hours are as follows: 

  • Tuesdays: 8.00am - 12.00pm

  • Thursday: 12.00pm - 4.00pm

  • 1st Saturday of Month - 9.00am-12.00pm

PARENT- TEACHER INTERVIEWS

Parent-Teacher Interviews are an important part of our continuing partnership with families for the students’ ongoing educational development. It gives parents/carers an opportunity to formally meet with their child’s class teacher(s) and discuss how both parties can best support the child in their learning.

Parent-Teacher Interviews will be conducted on Thursday 3rd April 2025. Please be reminded that no classes will run for students on this day.

 

KINDER & PRIMARY INTERVIEWS

9:30am-1pm and 1:50pm-3pm onsite at BHCS

4pm-5pm and 6:30pm to 8.30pm online via Zoom

 

SECONDARY INTERVIEWS

10am to 8.30pm online via Zoom

Bookings open: Thursday 6th March at 8pm

Bookings close: Tuesday, 1st April at 5pm

ANZAC DAY SERVICE

Our annual ANZAC Day commemoration service is on the horizon. It is a time for the school to pause, reflect and pay our respects to those who have served our nation in times of war.

After the holidays, on Thursday 24th April at 10am, we will come together to give thanks at our ANZAC Service.

Once again, we welcome parents and carers to attend this event.

Tickets will be limited. Details on how to book tickets will be sent out shortly.

YEAR 7, 2027 APPLICATIONS

If you have a child who is currently in Year 5 and you are anticipating that they will attend BHCS, please submit an application by the end of the term to ensure students are considered for the first round of interviews. If your child attends BHCS for year 5 they are guaranteed a position for Year 7 and no need to reapply.
