Level Four

Congratulations to our Year 4 students on a successful Term 1. We are impressed by the academic, social, and interpersonal skills each student has developed this term. We are excited about our upcoming Term 2 camp to Camp Rumbug.
Recently, in Integrated Studies, our students presented a Cultural Project. It was interesting to learn more about each student. Well done to our Year 4 students for presenting with strong voice projection, expression and fluency
The students had to answer the following questions:
1. What country is your family from? Show this on a map.
2. Who were the first family members to move to Australia? When did they do this?
3. What language(s) does your family speak?
4. What religion do you practice? (if any)
5. What are your favourite family traditions/holidays?
6. Describe clothing and food that are popular in your culture.
7. Are there any other parts of your culture or family lifestyle that you would like to share? i.e. the flag, etc.
Reading- This term, our students have explored the visualising and predicting. When predicting
Writing-Our students have finished planning, writing, editing and publishing a narrative. Well done to our students for their sizzling starts, interesting dialogue, realistic characterisation and engaging plots.
Maths- This term our students have been exposed to opportunities to strengthen their skills in reading and interpreting data, time, place value and shape. Thank you to all our students who have consolidated their maths skills at home through Mathletics.
