Level One

Level One has been busy with their learning throughout the term. We have explored 2D shapes and discussed their properties and features. Our fantastic students have crafted unique pieces of art using 2D shapes which have been used to create some beautiful images. By using art alongside mathematical knowledge, our Level One students have been able to consolidate their understanding in this mathematical concept and, at the same designed some wonderful artwork that showcases their talent. 

In Level One, students are developing their writing skills by learning to create information reports during Writing lessons. They are exploring how to structure their reports with facts, headings, and key details. In Reading sessions, they are practicing the skill of making predictions by using clues from the text and their prior knowledge to anticipate what might happen next. These activities help build their confidence as young readers and writers!
