Making memories

It has been an exciting fortnight! From camps to picnics – have a look at what our students have been up to.
Teddy Bear's Picnic
The Prep students had a fantastic time at their Teddy Bears' Picnic, bringing their favourite cuddly friends for an afternoon of fun. They enjoyed snacks and shared stories under the trees.
Year 6 camp
Our Year 6 students went on camp last week in Echuca. They had an amazing time taking part in adventure activities, designed to develop self-confidence, trust, problem solving and teamwork skills.
They also met a range of animals: horses, donkeys, llamas, goats and puppies. One of our teachers fell in love and brought one of the puppies home – meet the cutest little camper, Billy!
“We went to Billabong Ranch in Echuca for camp. My best memory was when the two teachers, Mr Dennis and Miss Elara, had a mousse off one night (seeing who could eat their chocolate mousse the fastest!). I did horse grooming, saddling, unsaddling, and riding the horses. I loved frisbee golf and bouldering. I enjoyed the camp a lot. Big thanks to all year six staff and the Billabong Ranch.” – Levi
“My favourite activity on camp was when we rode horses. The horses were so beautiful and well behaved. It was so fun seeing all the beautiful horses. The horse I rode was a horse called Trudy, who looked like a cow. First, we got paired with a horse and climbed onto the horse's saddle and the instructor told us how to steer and stop our horses. Then we went on a ride around the ranch.” – Anna
“I really enjoyed the mini golf because it was fun and you needed to use your concentration to get the golf ball in the hole” – Clara S
“My favourite thing about camp was the down time when Xander and I were playing chess, uno, no mercy and blackjack.” – Timothy
“My favourite part of camp was horse riding, I loved it because I was soooo hot, when the horse walked, I could feel the nice breeze!” – Lucy
“They tried lassoing us while we ran around dodging and weaving while people got eliminated around us.” – Tommy S
“Riding on a horse it’s fun but so many flies. The flies make it annoying, other than that riding on a horse is pretty chill.” – Adi
“My favourite activity was horse riding and frisbee golf.” – Khan
“My favourite activities in camp were horse riding, bungee jumping, mini golf, running in the sprinkler, bouldering, frisbee golf and saddling the horses!” – Reuben
“The horse riding wasn't as fun but grooming the horse was a pleasure.” – Kirin
“My favourite thing at camp was roping because it was fun running around trying not to get lassoed. I enjoy every second of it.” – Alexander M
“I liked the bungee trampoline. I tried to do a double backflip but failed. The schnitzel was very good.” – Rhys
