Meet our Prep teachers

Miss Emma

(Prep A and Team Leader)

Hello everyone, what’s there to say that you don’t already know... I am lucky enough to have worked with every year level currently at Port Melbourne Primary, either through organising their transition from kindergarten to school or as their teacher some point during their time in the junior school. Even though some may argue I don’t leave the classroom, when I do, you can find me reading in the sun, eating out or dreaming up new places to visit. Feel free to come say hello if you see me around.

  • What I'm reading right now: Homecoming by Kate Morton
  • Favourite sport: Tennis or F1
  • My favourite subject (when I was at school): Science
  • How long I've taught at PMPS: 9 years.

Miss Annie

(Prep B)

Hi everyone, my name is Annie and I am absolutely loving being a Prep teacher at PMPS! I have worked at PMPS since 2022, starting as a Casual Relief Teacher, before being lucky enough to teach Year 2 in 2023 and 2024. I love teaching the junior primary years, so teaching Prep this year has been really rewarding and a great new adventure for me.

I am a Melbourne local and a keen foodie, so when I am not at school you will probably find me at a restaurant or cafe with friends. I also love to travel and am always thinking about my next destination. Recommendations for restaurants and holiday destinations are always welcome!

  • What I'm reading right now: Happy Place by Emily Henry
  • Favourite sport: AFL! Despite their terrible Round 1 performance against the Tigers, I am hoping the Blues will have a great 2025 season...
  • My favourite subject (when I was at school): English and History
  • How long I've taught at PMPS: 4 years.

Miss Lindsay

I have been teaching at PMPS since 2007 and am very excited to be back teaching in Prep for 2025! I had the great opportunity to teach Masterclass in 2024 and I am enjoying bringing what I have learnt back into the classroom. When I am not at school I like reading, practicing Yoga and spending time with my family at our caravan in Torquay.
