Grade 2 | Wattle

In Grade Two we  have been talking about kindness and how we can spread kindness wherever we go. We made some kindness hearts.

We have read the story, The Snail and the Whale. We created some artwork which we shared at assembly. We are in the process of writing a story; What Happened Next…

In response to the story we thought about who our favourite character was and why.

My favourite character was the snail because it helped the whale.  (Stella)

My favourite character was the snail because it was small    (Tate)

My favourite character was the whale because it let the snail ride on its back.   ( Holly)

My favourite character was the whale because it helped the snail a lot especially when there was danger.   (Quintin)

My favourite character was the whale because he has a big long tail.  (Grace)

We have been earning points for our amazing work, respect, listening skills and active participation. Last week we got enough points to earn some choosing time in the classroom where we could choose different activities including lego, paper craft, games and  drawing.
